Creating Collages with Movavi Video Editor
Would you like to create fun and cool-looking video collages that consist of several video clips playing simultaneously? Then Movavi Video Editor is the best Video editing software. Needless to say you could create a lot of really unique videos with that technique, but first you need to be able to edit and compile the collage in the first place.
Initially creating collages may seem rather complicated, and you may not be sure whether you have the expertise that is needed. The good news is that you can quickly and easily create a collage using Movavi Video Editor – and you don’t need any special skills to do so.
The only thing that you need to get started is the video clips that you want to include in your collage. Assuming you already have those you could launch Movavi Video Editor and get started immediately.
First you will want to pick a background for your collage, and you can select ‘Backgrounds’ from the list on the left in Movavi Video Editor’s interface to see some of the built-in options. To apply a background, just drag and drop it into the ‘Timeline’ and adjust the duration that you want it to appear for.
Once you’ve added a background, go back to the list and click on ‘My Files’ then click ‘Add Media Files’ and select the videos that you want to include in your collage. When you add a video it will appear beside the background in the ‘Timeline’, but to create a collage you should click and drag the video upwards till an ‘Overlay track’ appears and drop it there. After that Movavi Video Editor will let you position and resize the video frame in the ‘Preview’ window.
The one problem you may face is the fact that the audio from every single video in your collage will play simultaneously, so you may want to select each video and click on the ‘Mute clip’ button. If you want you could either leave one video unmuted, or add a completely different audio track – such as a song that fits as background music.
In any case that’s really all there is to it, and by the time you’re done you should have an impressive video collage. If you want you can experiment with the other features in Movavi Video Editor and enhance the video quality, apply filters, add other effects, include captions, and so on. When you’re done, just click ‘Export’ and choose a format to save your video.
Now that you know how to use Movavi Video Editor as a video collage maker, be sure to try it out. Take a couple of clips that you think would fit well together and compile them into a collage, and you’ll be able to see just how quickly it can be done.
